ICAI Declares CA Foundation Results of June 2024

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the results for the CA Foundation examination held in June 2024. Students eagerly waiting for their scores can check them on the official ICAI website, icai.nic.in, by simply entering their roll number and registration number.

Out of a total of 91,900 candidates who appeared for the exam, 13,749 students successfully passed, which translates to a pass percentage of 14.96%. This year’s results show a challenge for many hopeful candidates.

Breaking down the statistics, among the male candidates, 49,580 appeared, with 7,766 passing the exam, leading to a pass rate of 15.66%. On the other hand, of the 42,320 female candidates, 5,983 managed to pass, giving them a pass percentage of 14.14%.

Students wishing to view their results can do so through several designated websites, including icai.nic.in, icaiexam.icai.org, and caresults.icai.org. To access their scores, candidates will need to follow a few straightforward steps that include entering their login credentials.

The ICAI had earlier indicated that the results would be made available on Monday evening, July 29, 2024. Candidates must ensure they have their registration number and roll number ready to download their scorecards.

In accordance with the ICAl regulations, students need to score at least 40 marks in each subject and 50% in aggregate to be considered qualified in the CA Foundation examination. Moreover, those achieving over 70% in total will receive a «pass with distinction» status.
