Labour Retains Control in Southampton City Council Local Elections
Southampton City Council’s local elections on May 2, 2024, saw the retention of Labour in control as 17 out of 51 seats were contested, one from each Ward. The Council’s composition now stands with Labour holding 36 seats, Conservatives with 10, Liberal Democrats with 4, and the Green Party with 1 seat.
