Maersk Revises Pick-Up Charges for Exports from Bengaluru, India
Shipping giant Maersk has announced a revision in its Pick-Up Charge (Exports) for all containers originating from Bengaluru, India, effective July 5th, 2024, for FMC countries and June 5th, 2024, for non-FMC countries.
The revised tariff rates apply to containers picked up from Bengaluru and transported via Jawaharlal Nehru, Tuticorin, and Ennore.
For 20-foot dry containers, the pick-up charge has increased from INR 10,000 to INR 17,560 per container.
Meanwhile, the charge for 40-foot dry containers has been raised from INR 8,050 to INR 22,075 per container.
In the case of 40-foot high dry containers, the pick-up charge has surged from INR 10,000 to INR 22,075 per container.
Customers are encouraged to use Maersk’s inland price look-up feature on their website for the most updated inland rates and related surcharges included in their contracts.
