Tamil Nadu 12th Board Exam Results 2024 Declared: 94% Pass Class 12

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department announced the results of the TN HSE +2 (Class 12) board exams for the year 2024. The examinations, held in March, saw a total of 7,55,451 students passing the Class 12 board tests this year. Students who appeared for the Class 12 exams between March 22 and April 13 can now check their results on the official websites.

This year, the pass percentage stood at an impressive 94.56%. Analyzing the performance across different streams, the results indicate that 96.35% of students from the science stream, 92.46% from commerce, and 85.67% from the arts stream successfully cleared the exams.

To check their results, students are advised to visit the official websites of the Tamil Nadu Board, including tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. Once on the homepage, students can navigate to the TN Result portal, select the HSE(+2) Result link, and enter their registration number and date of birth to view their results.

The top five performing districts in Tamil Nadu for the Class 12 board exams this year were Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Tuticorin, and Ramanathapuram, with impressive pass percentages recorded across these regions.

Breaking down the gender-wise performance, the results show that 325,305 boys and 393,890 girls successfully passed the TN 12th board exams. The pass percentage for boys stood at approximately 92.4%, while girls achieved a pass percentage of around 96.4% in the state.
