Neet & Ugc Net Exam Scam Uncovered: Candidate's Confession Confirms Leaked Paper Matched Actual Exam Paper

An aspiring candidate for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), Anurag Yadav, has confessed to his involvement in the result irregularities that have recently come to light. In an exclusive access to a confession letter obtained by India Today, the 22-year-old nephew of an engineer from Danapur Town Council in Bihar, Sikandar Prasad Yadavendu, admitted that the leaked question paper he received perfectly matched the actual exam paper.

Yadav mentioned in his statement that his relative, Sikandar Prasad Yadavendu, assured him that all necessary arrangements for the NEET exam had been made. He further revealed that he was provided with the leaked question paper along with the answers, which, upon comparing during the exam, perfectly aligned with the official paper.

The revelation comes in the midst of a larger scandal involving the recent cancellation of the NEET exam due to suspected compromise. The matter is now under investigation by the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C).

Following the cancellations, the educational authorities have also decided to conduct a fresh examination for the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test), with dates to be announced separately. The UGC NET exam, which attracted a record number of 1.1 million candidates, was conducted in a traditional pen and paper format on a single day, departing from its usual computer-based mode.

The unfolding of these events occurs against the backdrop of a contentious period regarding exam irregularities, with the Supreme Court closely monitoring the NEET-UG 2024 case. With the top rank in the NEET-UG 2024 exam being shared by an unexpected number of 67 students, concerns about the integrity and fairness of the process have been amplified.

The cancellation of the UGC-NET has only exacerbated the tensions surrounding the larger NEET-UG controversy, sparking criticism and political reactions across the country. Leading figures such as Akhilesh Yadav from the Samajwadi Party and Mallikarjun Kharge from the Congress have voiced their concerns and pointed fingers at the government, calling for accountability and transparency in these crucial examinations.

As social media platforms buzz with discussions and criticisms over these exam scandals, the educational landscape in the country is poised for significant scrutiny and reform in the coming days.
