President Bola Tinubu Appoints New Leadership for Nigerian Ports Authority
President Bola Tinubu has made significant changes in the leadership of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) by appointing Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho as the Managing Director and Senator Adedayo Adeyeye as the Chairman of the Board.
The appointments were announced in a press release issued on Friday by the President’s Media Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, signaling a new era for the crucial agency.
Dr. Dantsoho, a distinguished individual with a Doctorate degree in Maritime Technology from Liverpool John Moores University and a Master’s degree in International Transport from Cardiff University of Wales, has an extensive background in the Nigerian Ports Authority.
His experience includes roles such as Assistant General Manager, Technical Assistant to the Managing Director, Port Manager at Onne Port, and Principal Manager in Tariff & Billing.
Senator Adeyeye, the newly appointed Chairman of the Board, brings with him a wealth of experience as a seasoned lawyer, journalist, and politician.
He has previously served as a Minister of State for Works and represented Ekiti South Senatorial District as a Senator.
