Renowned financial expert Martin Lewis has unveiled a nifty money-saving hack for shoppers looking to snag deals at the popular high-street fashion retailer Zara.

During a recent episode of his show on Radio 5, Martin Lewis emphasized the significant savings that can be made by purchasing Zara items in Spain rather than the UK. Lewis pointed out that Zara products in Spain are priced considerably lower than those in the UK, with potential savings of up to 25% for savvy shoppers.

By simply visiting the Zara Spain website and switching the language to English, consumers can browse the prices of items and compare them to those in the UK before making a purchase. Lewis advised travelers heading to Spain or Portugal this summer to pack a large suitcase and stock up on Zara essentials during their trip.

A quick cost comparison conducted by Martin Lewis himself highlighted the substantial price differences between Zara items in the two locations. For instance, a men’s linen suit blazer priced at £109 in the UK could be purchased for approximately £80 in Spain after conversion.

Furthermore, women looking for a floral print dress could save around £31 by buying it in Spain for €100 instead of £119 in the UK. Similarly, a leather bag costing £179 in the UK would only set shoppers back around €159 in Spain, resulting in significant savings.

Martin Lewis concluded the segment by emphasizing the strategic timing for comparing prices of mobile and broadband providers to secure better deals and save money. With the recent inflation hikes, now is an ideal opportunity to seek out cost-effective options before prices rise again next year.
