Savoie and Komarov to Headline CHL Memorial Cup Showdown
Buffalo Sabres prospects Matt Savoie and Vsevolod Komarov are primed to take center stage in the highly anticipated 2024 Memorial Cup, the prestigious championship event of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL).
The Memorial Cup will feature a lineup of top junior league teams, including the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) champions London Knights, Western Hockey League (WHL) champions Moose Jaw Warriors, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) champions Drummondville Voltigeurs, and the host team, Saginaw Spirit from the OHL.
Savoie, a standout forward for the Moose Jaw Warriors, led his team to the Memorial Cup after a commanding performance in the WHL Championship series, where they swept the Portland Winterhawks in the finals.
