Coach Steve Barker has been busy this off-season, welcoming three new players to Stellenbosch FC as they gear up for the upcoming campaign.

Last month, the club completed the signings of Sanele Barns, Lehlogonolo Bradley Mojela, and Omega Mdaka, adding some fresh talent to their squad.

In an exciting twist, Ibraheem Jabaar has also made a return, rejoining Stellenbosch for a second stint.

Two young stars, Langelihle Phili and Tylon Smith, have been promoted to the first team after shining in the reserve squad, which recently clinched the DStv Diski Challenge title.

For this season, Mojela will sport the No. 10 jersey, filling the vacancy left by Nhlanhla Mgaga. Meanwhile, Tylon Smith takes the No. 22 jersey, previously worn by Qobolwakhe Sibande, who has transferred to TS Galaxy.

Langelihle Phili will wear the No. 11 kit, which was last donned by Salifu Colley.

Jabaar is back in his familiar No. 27 strip, while Kyle Jurgens has opted for the No. 6 jersey this season. Barns and Mdaka will wear No. 20 and No. 3, respectively.

Here’s a look at the full Stellenbosch FC squad for the 2024/25 season: Sage Stephens (No. 17), Oscarine Masuluke (No. 30), Dejean Ah Shene (No. 32), and captain Lee Langeveldt (No. 35).
