The legendary Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live, delighting fans and stirring up drama in the latest installment of the show’s sketch series, ‘The Californians: Wedding.’

During the episode, which aired on October 13, 2012, Bolt donned a striking blond wig that instantly caught viewers’ attention. The sketch, set in a soap opera-like atmosphere, showcases characters who are a bit overly dramatic, all while obsessed with traffic.

In this particular episode, the main character Stuart, played by Fred Armisen, was gearing up for his wedding to Brie, portrayed by Christina Applegate. Just as it seemed the couple might get hitched, a series of shocking twists began to unfold.

As the chaos escalated, characters revealed scandalous secrets. The wedding planner, played by Taran Killam, was trying to manage the situation as news broke about Brie being accused of fraud. All the while, Vanessa Bayer’s character delivered even more twists, informing everyone that Brie’s first husband had just awakened from his coma!

In the midst of all this drama, Usain Bolt entered the scene in a comedic follow-up segment, claiming, ‘I’m looking for my biological father,’ adding with a smile, ‘I like, totally sprinted here.’ His delivery in a faux San Fernando Valley accent was spot-on, reminiscent of the show’s signature style.

The audience couldn’t help but laugh as Bolt’s character delivered a side-eye and the other characters reacted in shock. It was a hilarious moment that only someone like Bolt could pull off in such a wild setting.

Fans can catch the entire sketch by tuning in to Saturday Night Live, which airs Saturdays at 11:30 PM on NBC.
