The West African Examinations Council, or WAEC for short, has just announced that the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination will hit the web on August 5, 2024.

Students from all over the West African region are counting down the days as they eagerly await their results. These will be accessible online and at designated WAEC offices, according to Schoolpursuit.

This announcement has brought a wave of relief to many candidates who took the exams earlier this year and have been anxiously waiting for this moment.

In their announcement, WAEC stated, “WAEC has officially announced that the WAEC 2024 results will be out on Monday, August 5, 2024.”

They did acknowledge that some challenges had delayed the release, but they assured everyone that 99.5% of the SSCE results are ready for distribution soon.

PUNCH Online tried to reach out for confirmation from WAEC’s Lagos Office, specifically from Dr. Amos Dangut, the Head of Nigeria Office, but there was no response.

However, a reliable source from the WAEC Office in Kwara State did confirm the news, saying, “This is true. A statement should be up on the website and social media handle any moment from now.”
