Florida State Seminoles Junior Day 2025 Recruits

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State Seminoles wrapped up a highly anticipated Junior Day recruiting event this weekend, hosting more than 30 top prospects for the 2026 class. With the 2025 recruiting class nearly complete, head coach Mike Norvell and his staff are now turning their attention to building the foundation for future seasons.

Among the standout attendees was four-star offensive tackle Canon Pickett, who confirmed his visit to campus via social media. Pickett is one of several high-profile 2026 recruits being courted by the Seminoles, including edge rushers Zavion-Griffin Hayes and Trenton Henderson, as well as five-star linebacker Xavier Griffin.

Florida State also made significant strides in securing commitments from key transfers. Former USC wide receiver Duce Robinson, a former five-star recruit, announced his decision to join the Seminoles, bolstering an already talented receiving corps. Additionally, the Seminoles added depth to their offensive line with commitments from former Wake Forest starter Luke Petitbon and Ole Miss standout Micah Pettus.

Defensively, the Seminoles received a boost with the return of Darrell Jackson, one of the nation’s top defensive linemen. Jackson, who initially declared for the NFL Draft, decided to return to Florida State for another season, citing unfinished business. “That’s one of the great defensive linemen in all of college football going into this next season,” said a Seminole Boosters representative during a recent event.

On the field, Florida State’s women’s basketball team continued its strong performance in the ACC, defeating Clemson 82-67 behind double-doubles from Taniya Latson and Makayla Timpson. Meanwhile, the men’s tennis team celebrated a sweep, and the softball team showcased its top-tier talent, with multiple players ranked among the best in the nation at their positions.

As the Seminoles shift their focus to the 2026 recruiting class, the program remains optimistic about its future. “We’re building something special here,” said Coach Norvell during a recent interview with Seminole Boosters. “The foundation we’re laying now will pay dividends for years to come.”
