Governors Ball 2025: Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler the Creator Headline NYC Festival
NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — The Governors Ball Music Festival, New York City‘s largest outdoor music event, returns to Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens from June 6 to 8, 2025. Headliners Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler the Creator, and Hozier will lead a star-studded lineup featuring over 60 acts, including Benson Boone, Feid, Glass Animals, and more.
Presale tickets for the festival go on sale Thursday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m., with prices starting at $139 for single-day passes and $319 for three-day general admission. Attendees can purchase up to eight tickets per transaction, with prices increasing after the first hour of sales. Children aged eight and under can attend for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult, with a limit of two children per adult.
The festival, now in its 15th year, marks only the third time it will be held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. NYC Parks Commissioner Sue Donoghue emphasized the event’s significance, stating, “Summer in New York City is not complete without the sound of music playing in our parks. Holding the Governors Ball in our iconic Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens is the perfect way to celebrate the arts and bring people together.”
Gates open at 11:45 a.m. each day, with the main entrance located between the Unisphere and Astronaut Court. The festival is open to all ages and will operate on a cashless system, accepting credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments. Attendees are encouraged to leave large bags at home to expedite entry, as all guests and belongings will be subject to search.
Prohibited items include aerosol containers, professional cameras, drones, outside food or drinks, and pets (except service animals). However, attendees can bring baby strollers, blankets, and non-aerosol sunscreen. The festival also enforces a smoke-free policy, prohibiting smoking and vaping throughout the park.
With public transportation options nearby, the festival is easily accessible for both New Yorkers and visitors. The event promises a mix of music, local food vendors, and interactive activations, making it a highlight of the summer season.
