Halsey And Avan Jogia Engagement

Singer-songwriter Halsey has opened up about how her fiancé, Avan Jogia, has transformed her perspective on marriage. In a recent appearance on the *Call Her Daddy* podcast on October 30, Halsey revealed that she never envisioned herself getting married until she met Jogia, an alum of the TV show *Victorious*.

Halsey, 30, and Jogia, 32, got engaged in September, with the proposal taking place in Barcelona, a city that holds special meaning for the couple as it is where they first started spending time together. Halsey admitted that she was initially skeptical about the concept of marriage, but her feelings changed with Jogia. “I couldn’t really understand the point of marrying… I was like, well, if you love each other, then just be together,” she explained. However, with Jogia, she felt a different connection: “It was just something with him where I just knew I wanted to marry him”.

The couple’s engagement has also highlighted the strong bond between Jogia and Halsey’s son, Ender. Halsey praised Jogia’s relationship with her son, noting, “He has a relationship with my son now,” and appreciating the way Jogia shows up for Ender.

Following the proposal, the couple has not had the chance to fully celebrate their engagement due to Jogia’s filming commitments in Canada. Halsey expressed her eagerness to spend more time with him once he returns).
