Influencer Diana Areas Dies After Falling from Apartment Building

Campos, Brazil – Diana Areas, a 39-year-old Brazilian nutritionist and influencer, died after reportedly falling from her apartment building on Thursday, November 13. Her body was discovered in a shared area of the Unique Towers condominium in Campos, northeast of Rio de Janeiro.

Emergency responders found Areas with severe injuries after being called to her residence. Early reports indicate she had been taken to Ferreira Machado Hospital at approximately 6:30 a.m. for treatment of cuts on her body. Despite being in moderate condition, she left the hospital without medical clearance, according to local authorities.

Witnesses reported that Areas fell from the top floor of the building shortly after leaving the hospital. Her partner reportedly contacted authorities after a dispute just before her death. Officials have not yet determined the circumstances surrounding her fall and are actively investigating the incident.

Areas was known for her fitness and nutrition content, amassing around 200,000 followers on Instagram. She frequently posted workout routines and promoted a healthy lifestyle aimed at transforming both body and mind. Just five days prior to her death, she had shared a post inviting her followers to join an upcoming summer challenge.

Her last post has drawn a surge of tributes from fans mourning her loss. One follower lamented, “Rest in peace my friend. May your soul find peace there with our Father. Sorry we couldn’t help you.” Another expressed disbelief at her passing, writing, “I can’t believe you’re gone. Rest in peace beautiful.”

Areas’ body was transferred to the Forensic Medical Institute for further examination. The investigation by the Civil Police of Campos continues, with details about the cause of her fall still unclear.
