Joshua Jackson is predominantly recognized for his television work, particularly in Ryan Murphy’s series like ‘The Politician’ and ‘Hollywood.’ However, playing Superman in this upcoming film is expected to elevate his fame to new heights.

The film marks a significant step for James Gunn as he ventures into the realm of iconic superheroes after achieving success with the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise at Marvel Studios.

Aside from Joshua Jackson as Superman, the cast includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Holt as Lex Luthor, and a talented ensemble featuring Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Edi Gathegi, Terence Rosemore, Anthony Carrigan, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, María Gabriela de Faría, and Wendell Pierce.

Set for release on July 11, 2025, Warner Bros. has high hopes for this new adaptation of the classic superhero character.
