Jennie and Uchis Deliver Show-Stopping Performance at Coachella 2025

INDIO, Calif. — K-pop sensation Jennie electrified Coachella‘s Outdoor Theatre on Sunday night, captivating the audience with a dynamic performance that featured a surprise collaboration with fellow artist Kali Uchis.
Performing with high energy, Jennie ran through her solo catalogue, including hits like “Solo” and “You & Me.” The setlist also highlighted tracks from her debut album released earlier in March, showcasing her evolution as a solo artist.
Near the end of her performance, Uchis, stunning in a fitted dress complementing Jennie’s wine and red-themed ensemble, joined her on stage. Although Childish Gambino is featured on the track, he did not appear alongside the two performers. Instead, the duo shined as they harmonized and exchanged R&B-inspired verses.
This marks Jennie’s grand return to the Coachella stage, following Blackpink‘s historic headline performance at the festival in 2023. Uchis highlighted this achievement during her speech at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event, emphasizing the significance of Blackpink’s milestone as the first K-pop and all-girl group to headline the prestigious festival.
“It’s a big deal,” Uchis told the audience as they erupted in applause for Blackpink’s groundbreaking accomplishment. She also took the opportunity to express gratitude towards Jennie for inviting her to collaborate on the track “Ruby,” which culminated in their live performance of “Damn” for the first time together.
The electricity in the air was palpable, as fans eagerly anticipated the duo’s rendition and celebrated their unique vocal styles blending seamlessly in a perfect showcase of talent.
