Donald Glover, known by his stage name Childish Gambino, has revealed plans for an upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand, coinciding with the surprise launch of his latest album Atavista.

The tour will see Childish Gambino making stops in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth in January and February next year, with the talented Amaarae joining as a special guest.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public on Monday, May 20th, with various pre-sales available at staggered times prior to the general sale.

The announcement of the tour follows the unexpected release of Atavista, an album featuring reimagined versions of tracks from Childish Gambino’s previous record, 3.15.20, which made it to the 11th spot on the ARIA Albums Chart.
