Slow Horses star Rosalind Eleazar has shared exciting insights into the upcoming Netflix series ‘Missing You’, a creation of the renowned author Harlan Coben. Eleazar, known for her diverse roles on stage and screen, is set to portray Detective Kat Donovan in the adaptation, alongside esteemed actors Richard Armitage, Sir Lenny Henry, and Steve Pemberton from Inside No. 9.

‘Missing You’, currently in production, is anticipated for a late 2024 or early 2025 release. During a recent red carpet interview, Eleazar, nominated for her role as Louisa Guy, hinted at the unique twist in the plot, different from Coben’s earlier works, describing the series as a tender and emotional story with unexpected surprises.

The show’s official synopsis unveils Detective Kat Donovan’s journey as she encounters her long-lost fiancé, Josh, on a dating app after his mysterious disappearance eleven years ago. This unexpected reunion catapults her into a whirlwind of emotions and reopens the investigation into her father’s murder, unveiling buried secrets from her past.

Netflix’s decision to adapt ‘Missing You’ marks the third venture after the successes of ‘Fool Me Once‘ and ‘Run Away‘, signifying a continual collaboration with Harlan Coben’s compelling narratives. The recent BAFTA TV Awards honored outstanding talents in the industry, with emotional moments from Sarah Lancashire and comedic brilliance from Joe Lycett, making it a memorable evening in the world of television.
