Jude Bellingham Real Madrid Training

Madrid, Spain — A photograph of Jude Bellingham during a recent training session has sparked significant interest among fans and analysts. Recently posted on Real Madrid’s social media, the image features Bellingham in mid-air, performing an unconventional exercise involving a purple elastic band and a 14-kilogram kettlebell.

Bellingham, 22, was not selected for England‘s national team by manager Thomas Tuchel for October’s international fixtures, providing him with an opportunity to focus on his physical preparations at Real Madrid. The unusual training method showcased in the photo is a part of a routine used by all Madrid players to enhance their athletic performance.

This specific exercise involves a jumping squat, which integrates a rubber band to assist players in performing explosive jumps, crucial for footballers’ muscle power. Experts refer to this movement as a ‘sumo squat,’ which increases stimulation and targets the adductor muscles in the thighs.

Club sources describe the exercise as “normal,” albeit it may surprise those outside the training facility. This method was introduced following a coaching overhaul when Xabi Alonso took charge in May. The team’s physical training has since been guided by coach Ismael Camenforte, who previously worked with Barcelona and alongside Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen.

Camenforte’s hiring came after Real Madrid faced an injury crisis last season, which prompted a reevaluation of training methods. Alongside established fitness coach Antonio Pintus, whose role has shifted to a more advisory position, Camenforte is working on integrating advanced techniques into the team’s routine.

During training, Bellingham was also spotted wearing a unique version of Adidas’ FW25 Predator boots, featuring custom branding that reflects his hometown of Birmingham. He is expected to wear these new boots during the upcoming match against Getafe.

After a series of substitute appearances for England and the disappointment of being overlooked for international duty, Bellingham aims to establish himself as a key player under Alonso, especially with an El Clasico match against Barcelona approaching.
