Kendrick Lamar to Headline Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show
The NFL has announced the details for the Super Bowl LIX pregame and halftime performances, with a star-studded lineup set to entertain the audience. While the pregame will feature a series of performances by Louisiana natives, the halftime show will be headlined by rap megastar Kendrick Lamar.
Kendrick Lamar, known for his critically acclaimed albums and powerful live performances, will take the stage at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9, 2025. This event marks another significant milestone in the NFL’s efforts to bring high-profile talent to the Super Bowl stage.
The halftime show will be co-executive produced by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation company and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins, ensuring a high level of production quality and entertainment value.
In addition to Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance, the pregame will include performances by Jon Batiste, who will sing the national anthem, and Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle, who will perform “America the Beautiful.” Ledisi will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing” as part of the pregame festivities.
