The announcement of the results was made by Kerala’s Minister for General Education, V Sivankutty, at a press meet held in Thiruvananthapuram. The results come after the Higher Secondary examinations were conducted from March 1 to 26, with a total of 294,888 out of the 374,755 students who appeared for the exams qualifying for higher education.

As per the data released, the pass percentage varied across different streams, with Science students achieving the highest pass percentage at 84.84%, followed by Commerce at 76.11% and Humanities at 67.09%. In terms of district-wise performance, Malappuram stood out with the highest number of students scoring A+ grades for all subjects, totaling 5,659.

Looking ahead, for students who couldn’t perform satisfactorily in the Plus Two exams this year, the Save a Year (SAY) exam, also known as the Improvement Exam, is scheduled to take place from June 12 to 20, offering them an opportunity to enhance their scores.

In total, 25,000 teachers participated in evaluating the answer sheets of both Plus One and Plus Two exams at 77 evaluation camps set up across the state, ensuring a fair and accurate assessment process.
