Kid Rock Slams Ticketmaster in Viral Rant on Social Media

Nashville, TN
Kid Rock, the controversial rock musician, took to social media on Tuesday to launch an expletive-filled tirade against Live Nation Entertainment and Ticketmaster. The nearly four-minute video has since gained popularity online, with over 473,500 views on X and 441,000 on Instagram.
In the video, Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, urged fellow artists to speak out against what he described as the corrupt practices of Ticketmaster regarding ticket sales. He referenced a past executive order made by former President Donald Trump that called for an investigation into Ticketmaster, saying, “They filed a f*****g lawsuit against Ticketmaster. Clearly, they found out those m*****f****** are crooks.”
Rock expressed frustration with the high fees and practices that ticketing companies impose on fans and artists alike. “If you buy a ticket and go to a concert, you are their worst customer,” he said, criticizing the company for wanting to resell tickets on their platform.
He also criticized Ticketmaster’s inability to eliminate ticket bots, declaring, “They could have fixed this f*****g problem but they’re greedy f***s.” He added, “I hope they’ll go down, personally, right to the f*****g bottom.”
The Michigan native called for more regulations in the ticketing industry and expressed hope that artists would unite against such practices. “A lot of them will p*** out,” he warned, referencing artists like Pearl Jam, who previously opposed Ticketmaster’s fees.
The video escalated to a call for action, as Rock challenged other musicians to join him in addressing the issue. He accused previous administrations, including those led by Bush, Obama, and Clinton, of failing to enact meaningful change for the music industry.
As of now, none of the artists mentioned in Rock’s video have responded. The ongoing frustration within the music community continues to gain momentum, particularly as ticket prices soar and resale practices come under scrutiny.
