The Boys Season 5 Mason Dye

Mason Dye has joined the cast of “The Boys” for its fifth season, Variety has confirmed. Dye will appear in a guest role as Bombsight, a character briefly mentioned in the previous season. Bombsight was acknowledged during Season 4 as a Supe featured in the early Vought superhero film “The Curse of Fu Manchu” during the 1950s. The specifics surrounding this character are being closely guarded at present.

In an exciting development, sources have indicated that Bombsight could potentially appear opposite notable cast members Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash. Representatives for Amazon and Sony Pictures Television chose not to comment on this aspect of the storyline concerning “Vought Rising.”

Mason Dye is widely recognized for his previous performances, including his role as Jason Carver in the fourth season of “Stranger Things.” His acting credentials also include appearances on MTV’s “Teen Wolf” and Lifetime movies such as “Flowers in the Attic” and “The Wrong Son.” Dye is managed by CESD, Amplified, Industry Entertainment, and Goodman Genow.

“The Boys,” based on the popular comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, was adapted for television by showrunner Eric Kripke. The series also lists Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and several others as executive producers. It is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.

Dye’s addition follows the announcement of other new cast members for the series’ fifth season. The fifth season also stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, and Erin Moriarty, among others.
