Maude Cyr Deschênes From Madawaska Advances In La Voix Auditions

Maude Cyr-Deschênes, a talented artist from Edmundston, has successfully passed the first stage of the renowned singing competition, La Voix. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter impressed the judges, Roxane Bruneau and France D’Amour, with her rendition of Juliette Armanet’s ‘Le Dernier jour du disco’, leading them to turn their chairs around. Ultimately, Maude chose to join France D’Amour’s team for the rest of her journey on the popular TV show.

Despite her young age, Maude Cyr-Deschênes has been involved in the cultural scene for several years. She is the daughter of Étienne Deschênes and Sylvie Cyr, the organizers of the Acadie des terres et forêts en fête. Maude has contributed to the development of the show on numerous occasions. Additionally, she has showcased her talents in the musical ‘La Mélodie du bonheur’ and released her EP titled ‘Nos saisons’ in the fall of 2022. She has also displayed her acting skills on the television program ‘Conséquences’.

With her recent success on La Voix, Maude Cyr-Deschênes has captured the attention and support of the local community, who will undoubtedly be following her journey on the TVA show with great interest.
