AHMEDABAD, India — Mayank Agarwal, the batter for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, achieved two significant milestones on June 3, 2025, during the IPL finals against Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium. He completed his 100th six in IPL history and crossed the 5,000-run mark in T20 cricket.

Agarwal reached the 100-six milestone with his first maximum of the match, highlighting his power-hitting ability. He accomplished this feat in his 131st IPL match, batting in 125 innings. Since debuting in 2011, he has played for five franchises and made significant contributions to the tournament.

The Indian cricketer has scored over 2,700 runs in IPL, holding an average of nearly 23 and a strike rate above 133. His IPL statistics also include one century and 13 half-centuries, showcasing his consistency as a batsman.

Furthermore, Agarwal achieved his 5,000th T20 run in his 215th match. Leading into the final, he had accumulated 4,988 runs and has since scored 30 innings of fifty-plus runs, which include two centuries and more than 175 sixes in the T20 format. Notably, he has not yet represented India in T20 Internationals.

RCB finished the regular season second in the IPL 2025 points table, giving them two opportunities to qualify for the playoffs in the upcoming Qualifier matches.
