The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced the results for Class 10 and 12 (Arts stream) exams on May 24, 2024. Students who appeared for these examinations can now access their scorecards online on the official websites – mbose.in or megresults.nic.in.

To view individual scores, candidates need to visit the official websites and click on the Results 2024 link. They will be required to enter their roll number and other necessary credentials to access their results.

Last year, over 51,000 students participated in the SSLC exams conducted by MBOSE, with the overall pass percentage being 51.93%. In the Arts stream HSSLC exams, Larisa Lamin from Adventist Higher Secondary School in Thadlaskein secured the top position.

The exam outcomes also revealed that East Khasi Hills emerged as the best performing district with a pass percentage of 73.87%, while South Garo Hills had the lowest pass rate of 27.87%.

Following the result declaration, students are advised to review their mark sheets carefully for accurate details such as their name, school information, birth date, subject-wise marks, and overall grades. In case of any discrepancies, students should promptly notify the relevant authorities.

It is noteworthy that the online scorecard issued is provisional, and students must collect their official mark sheets from their respective schools. Last year’s topper Samridhya Das from Sherwood School in Tura achieved 572 marks out of 600.

In the previous year’s exams, the Board witnessed a higher pass percentage for female candidates compared to males, with girls achieving an 88.40% pass rate in the regular category for Class 12. Larisa Lamin’s outstanding performance in the HSSLC exams further solidified the trend of female excellence in academics.
