Mike Santana to Defend Title Against Tomohiro Ishii at Puerto Rican Weekend

Jamaica, New York – On June 7, Mike Santana will defend his title at Puerto Rican Weekend in a match against NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii. The event will take place live at the NYC Arena.

Fightful reports Santana, the current House Of Glory (HOG) Heavyweight Champion, is set to face Ishii, who is making his debut in New York City. Ishii, known as the Stone Pitbull, has a storied career and has held championships around the world.

For over 500 days, Santana has held the HOG Heavyweight Championship, successfully defending it most recently against Cedric Alexander in Chicago. Now, he faces one of his toughest challenges in Ishii during the Puerto Rico vs. The World competition.

The annual Puerto Rican Weekend celebrates the legacy and future of Puerto Rican wrestling. Alongside Santana vs. Ishii, other notable wrestlers are expected to compete, including HOG Tag Team Champions Mane Event, Amazing Red, Dan Maff, Danny Limelight, and Karissa Rivera, formerly known as Elektra Lopez from WWE.
