MSSU Choral Society Begins Spring Season with Open Enrollment
Joplin MO – The spring season of the well-known area-wide mixed community chorus, the MSSU Choral Society, begins Monday, January 15, 7 pm to 9 pm.
The choir, open to all singers without auditions, welcomes both experienced and new participants. Led by conductor Melissa Belk, the MSSU Choral Society offers a semester of choral singing and holiday performances for a modest class fee of $30.
The first few weeks are free for anyone interested in joining. It is helpful to have prior experience in a choir, but it is not a requirement.
The chorus will dedicate the spring season to preparing for an exciting and engaging spring concert. Singers will have the opportunity to rehearse a variety of enjoyable and fun-to-sing music.
