The streaming giant is collaborating with Most Valuable Promotions, a company established by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian in 2021. Most Valuable Promotions specializes in organizing pay-per-view fights, making this partnership a significant move in the world of entertainment sports.

Gabe Spitzer, Netflix’s vice president of nonfiction sports, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, highlighting the iconic status of Mike Tyson in boxing history and Jake Paul’s disruptive influence on the sport. The match is expected to draw a large audience and generate considerable buzz in the boxing world.

Earlier this year, Netflix made a strategic move by acquiring exclusive rights to Raw and other programming from World Wrestling Entertainment, marking a significant expansion of its live events portfolio. The upcoming Tyson versus Paul fight will be Netflix’s third foray into live sports, following successful golf and tennis exhibitions.
