New Cheerleading Comedy Stumble Premieres Tomorrow with Star-Studded Cast
LOS ANGELES, CA — A new cheerleading comedy titled Stumble is set to premiere tomorrow night, November 7, at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. The show centers on Courteney Potter, played by Jenn Lyon, who is determined to lead her junior college cheer squad to their 15th championship while improving their lives.
Joining the cast are notable guest stars including Snoop Dogg, who lends his comedy flair to the show. In Stumble, Snoop Dogg appears as Jolene, a businesswoman with an AI company interested in establishing a data center in Healdton. A former cheerleader herself, Jolene is drawn to Courteney’s team.
Also featured is acclaimed actor Andrew Ghee, who portrays Charleston, a talented choreographer hired by Courteney to inspire her cheer team. Ghee has made a name for themselves as a Tony Award-winning actor and has recently starred in Netflix’s Raising Dion.
Comedian and social media star Jake Heagerty will bring humor to the show as Seph Marigold, Courteney’s eccentric stalker who turns out to be an unexpected hero. This marks Heagerty’s television debut after directing a workshop of White Girls Gang.
The mockumentary-style series will follow Happy’s Place as part of a comedy block on Fridays. In addition to Lyon, the main cast includes Taran Killam, Ryan Pinkston, Jarrett Austin Brown, and Arianna Davis. Kristin Chenoweth is also set to make recurring appearances, while previously announced guest stars include Jeff Hiller, Dascha Polanco, and Busy Phillips.
Stumble is produced by Universal Television, with Liz and Jeff Astrof serving as showrunners. They are joined by executive producers Dana Honor, Monica Aldama, and Jeff Blitz, who also directs. With a talented ensemble and an engaging premise, Stumble aims to capture audiences with its unique blend of comedy and heartfelt moments.
