The event will feature renowned publishers such as Bethesda Softworks ANZ, Blizzard Entertainment, Devolver Digital, and FINAL FANTASY™ XIV Online. Other notable participants include PC Game Pass, Playside Studios, SEGA, Steam, The Sims, and Ubisoft among others.

In addition to software exhibitors, the convention will showcase leading hardware brands introducing the latest in gaming apparatus. Brands such as AFTERSHOCK PC, ASUS – Republic of Gamers, Bluemouth Interactive, Cooler Master, Intel, LG Electronics Australia, MSI Gaming, Samsung, and Secretlab will vie for attendees’ attention and patronage with various giveaways and prizes on offer.

One of the anticipated highlights of PAX Australia will be Steam, which is speculated to unveil the Steam Deck, potentially announcing a local release for the handheld gaming device. This speculation has certainly created a buzz amongst gaming enthusiasts.

This year’s convention will also integrate an interactive experience in the form of dodgeball, incorporating “gamified mechanics” using an LED court. The competition promises high-energy entertainment, with the victors crowned as Australia’s inaugural Red Bull Gameball Royale Champions.

PAX Australia will feature a substantial showcase of indie games, supported by the New Zealand Centre of Digital Excellence, which will present 18 of New Zealand’s newest indie games alongside a collection from Australia.

The tabletop segment will be the most extensive in PAX Australia’s history, offering a range of activities for those interested in analog gaming experiences.

As of now, three-day and Saturday passes for the convention are sold out; however, interested parties can still purchase badges for Friday and Sunday, highlighting the event’s widespread appeal and popularity.
