Rascal Flatts Announce 25th Anniversary Reunion Tour
Country music band Rascal Flatts has announced they are reuniting for a 25th anniversary tour, named the “Life is a Highway” tour. This significant decision marks the end of the band’s hiatus and promises to bring nostalgia and excitement to fans across the United States.
The band, comprised of Joe Don Rooney, Jay DeMarcus, and Gary LeVox, took a break in 2020 after announcing a farewell tour. However, due to the unforeseen COVID-19 pandemic, these plans were interrupted, and the band was forced to pause their activities along with the rest of the world. Now, they are set to return to the stage in 2025.
“In 2020, we announced the farewell tour after being on the road extensively for 20 years. To put it simply, we needed a break. Then COVID hit and our plans came to a screeching halt, like the rest of the world,” the band shared in a statement on their website. “Since then, we’ve been able to revisit our unique and special experience as a band and we’re ready to get out on the road again.”
Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane are set to join Rascal Flatts on stage, adding to the allure of the tour. More guest performances are expected to be announced in the coming months.
The “Life is a Highway” tour will include over 20 shows, starting with a performance at the Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant, Oklahoma, on February 22. Among other locations, fans in Connecticut can anticipate a concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena on March 14.
Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 4, and will be available through Ticketmaster.
