Colorado Rockies Vs San Francisco Giants Baseball

Denver, CO – The Colorado Rockies aim for a series victory against the San Francisco Giants on Friday night after snapping a 12-game losing streak with a win on Thursday. The game is set to begin at 8:15 p.m. MT at Coors Field.

Antonio Senzatela, with a record of 1-4 and an ERA of 5.22, will take the mound for the Rockies. Senzatela faced a tough outing last week, allowing four runs over five innings against the Giants, and is looking to limit hard contact this time around. So far this season, he has conceded at least eight hits in all but one of his appearances.

This game will mark Senzatela’s 55th career start at Coors Field, where he has a history of success, holding a 3.80 ERA at home. His counterpart, Robbie Ray, a 12-year MLB veteran, comes into the game with a 3-0 record and a 3.73 ERA. Ray recently delivered an impressive performance, contributing to the Giants’ win in his last outing, though he did not earn a decision.

The two teams last faced off in September 2022, and Ray has considerable experience against the Rockies, having played against them multiple times throughout his career.

In a positive note for the Rockies, Ryan McMahon recently ended his 0-for-34 slump with a home run last night. Colorado fans hope McMahon can carry that momentum into Friday’s game. Additionally, Jordan Beck is hitting well, boasting a clean batting average this season.

Fan attendance will be available through Rockies.tv and on radio at KOA 850 AM/94.1 FM, as well as KNRV 1150 (Spanish).
