Rss Chief Mohan Bhagwat Arrives In Lucknow To Attend Ram Temple Ceremony

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Lucknow on Sunday to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla is scheduled for Monday, January 22. The journey leading up to the ceremony included a seven-day ritual following classical traditions.

Karsewakpuram, the area in Ayodhya where the Karsevaks stayed during their struggle for the Ram Temple, has been beautifully decorated with flowers of various hues. The place, around two kilometers from the Ram Janmabhoomi site, serves as a testimony to how time has changed.

Champat Rai‘s residence, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, has also been adorned with twinkling lights.

As the Pran Pratishtha ceremony draws closer, Ayodhya is under heavy security with a festive ambience. Rapid Action Force personnel are deployed, and the police conduct patrols by boat on the Sarayu River. Anti-bomb and dog squad teams are stationed at Ayodhya’s Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has set up a camp near the shrine to respond to any contingencies. Close surveillance through drone cameras and human intelligence is being ensured, and all security loopholes are being addressed to ensure a smooth event.

The idol of Shri Ram Lalla, carved by renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on Thursday. The grand occasion will be attended by dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Laxmikant Dixit, a priest from Varanasi, will lead the team of priests performing the main rituals of the Pran Pratishta.
