Sony Unveils Vibrant Hyperpop Collection for PS5 Launching in March 2026

Tokyo, Japan – Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today the launch of their new Hyperpop Collection, which includes three colorful designs for DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 console covers. The collection will be available starting March 12, 2026.

The Hyperpop Collection features three distinct colorways: Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. Each design incorporates a glossy black gradient that transitions to vibrant neon shades, appealing to gamers wanting to enhance their setups with a fresh look.

Leo Cardoso of Sony’s Color, Material, and Finish design team explained, “We’re cranking the volume all the way up with a collection that doesn’t just stand out, it takes over the room. Inspired by the glow of the RGB lights of your impressive gaming setups, these new colors go LOUD in the best possible way.”

Sae Kobayashi, another designer on the team, added, “A seamless gradient wraps around the front and back of the DualSense, and the console covers feature a hint of transparency to elevate the aesthetic.”

The new controllers will retail for $84.99 USD, €84.99, or £74.99, while the console covers will be available for $74.99 USD, €74.99, or £64.99. These accessories will be sold in limited quantities in select markets.

Pre-orders for the Hyperpop Collection will begin on January 16, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time at participating retailers worldwide. In the U.S., customers can enjoy free launch day delivery for eligible pre-orders made through the PlayStation store.

This collection marks a rare launch of new PS5 console covers since Sony usually focuses on game-related accessories. The Hyperpop designs allow users to personalize their gaming experience while adding a bold statement to their consoles.
