British music legend Brian May and comedian Rowan Atkinson joined the star-studded spectator list at the British Grand Prix, where iconic driver Lewis Hamilton thrilled fans with a spectacular win.

As Hamilton clinched his first victory in almost three years, waving the chequered flag was Queen guitarist Brian May, adding a touch of rockstar glamor to the event. The race saw a rollercoaster of emotions, with Hamilton securing his record ninth podium at Silverstone.

Hamilton’s Mercedes teammate George Russell initially led from pole position but faced disappointment due to a mechanical failure, overshadowing his promising start. McLaren’s Lando Norris fought valiantly but was overtaken by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen towards the end, settling for a commendable third place.

Among the notable celebrities at Silverstone was actor Rowan Atkinson, best known for his role in ‘Blackadder’, who closely observed the action from the Mercedes garage alongside team members. ‘Game Of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke, exploring the Ferrari garage, interacted with drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.

Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt made a special appearance, actively engaging in filming scenes for the upcoming Formula One blockbuster ‘F1,’ showcasing his passion for motorsports. Former ‘Top Gear’ host Jeremy Clarkson, renowned runner Mo Farah, cycling champion Chris Hoy, and music sensation Mollie King graced the event alongside cricketer Stuart Broad.

The pre-race ambiance was further heightened by Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham, who mesmerized attendees with a stirring rendition of the national anthem, setting the stage for an exhilarating race day.
