Three Injured in Bus Accident in Bonanza, Nicaragua

Bonanza, Nicaragua — Three people suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon when a bus overturned in the La Estrella community, carrying 38 passengers.
The injured were identified as 25-year-old Santos Emilia Suárez and 10-year-old Kelvin Gamaliel López Suárez. The identity of the third victim remains unknown.
The red bus, known as “El Malakate” and owned by Emilio Castro Zéas, was traveling from Biltignia to Bonanza. It was driven by 47-year-old David Francisco González Ortiz at the time of the accident.
According to preliminary reports, González lost control of the vehicle while taking a turn, causing it to slide and end up on its roof, resulting in significant damage.
Police arrived at the scene to begin an investigation into the exact causes of the accident, which fortunately did not result in any fatalities.
