Minnesota Timberwolves Vs Sacramento Kings

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota – The Minnesota Timberwolves secured their fourth consecutive victory by defeating the Sacramento Kings 124-110 on November 14, 2025, at Target Center. This win improves the Timberwolves’ record to 8-4 this season, while the Kings fall to 3-10.

Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch described games against struggling teams like Sacramento as ‘true tests’ of their early season readiness. Despite facing a Kings team eager to end a four-game losing streak, the Timberwolves quickly established control on the court.

Early in the first quarter, the Timberwolves showcased their offensive potential, building a lead with effective three-point shooting and strategic plays in the paint. However, the Kings managed to cut the deficit to 28-24 by the end of the quarter, relying on strong performances from Domantas Sabonis, who scored 30 points during the game, and Russell Westbrook, who had 12 assists.

Jaden McDaniels made a significant contribution as well. He started strong but had to leave the game multiple times due to injuries sustained during plays. The crowd appreciated his efforts, as he was a key player in keeping Minnesota competitive.

After halftime, Anthony Edwards came alive, scoring 21 points in the second half after a quiet first, and helped push the Timberwolves ahead. Donte DiVincenzo also made critical plays, finishing the game with 20 points and boosting the overall team energy.

Following the game, Finch emphasized the need for more energy from his bench unit, which only contributed 23 points overall. He noted the importance of improving defense, especially with tougher opponents on the horizon.

Despite some defensive issues throughout the game, the Timberwolves were able to capitalize on their advantages and secure a win. They will face the Denver Nuggets next, with tipoff scheduled for Saturday at 7:00 PM CT.
