Titans Release Harold Landry, Sign Otis Reese IV and Keondre Coburn

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans released edge rusher Harold Landry on Friday, marking a significant roster change as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
Landry, a second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, has been a key player for the Titans, accumulating 50.5 sacks over his seven seasons with the team. In the past season, he posted nine sacks and 41 quarterback pressures, showcasing his consistent performance. He was recognized as a Pro Bowl selection in 2021, proving his worth as one of the league’s standout defensive players.
“We appreciate everything Harold has brought to this organization,” Titans General Manager Ran Carthon said. “He’s been a tremendous player and person for us. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s in the best interest of the team moving forward.”
In addition to Landry’s departure, the Titans also announced the signing of linebackers Otis Reese IV and defensive lineman Keondre Coburn to one-year contracts. Both players were set to be exclusive rights free agents.
Reese IV has played in 20 games since joining the Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2023. His performance has made him a valuable asset on the defense.
Coburn, who previously played with the Kansas City Chiefs, has appeared in 19 games for the Titans over the past two seasons. His experience adds depth to the defensive line.
“Excited to keep building this roster,” Carthon added. “Both Reese and Coburn have shown dedication and talent, and we believe they will contribute significantly this season.”
The Titans continue to focus on strengthening their roster as they head into the offseason. Fans can stay informed by visiting the Titans’ official website for the latest updates.
