Trailer Release of Amal Neerad’s ‘Bougainville’ Stirs Audience Curiosity

The trailer for Amal Neerad’s much-anticipated film ‘Bougainville’ has been released, creating a buzz among viewers with its mysterious visuals and dialogues. The trailer has successfully piqued the interest of the audience, encouraging them to eagerly await the film’s release in theaters on October 17.

Character posters of the film’s main cast were unveiled the previous day, garnering widespread attention. The posters feature Kunchacko Boban as Roy Thomas, Fahadh Faasil as David Koshi, Jyothirmayi as Reethu, Sharafudheen as Biju, Sreenath as Rama, and Veena as Meera. Following the character poster release, the trailer has also attracted numerous views within a short span.

Amal Neerad’s film, featuring Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Jyothirmayi in lead roles, has already garnered attention with its songs ‘Stuthi’ and ‘Maravikale Parayu,’ suggesting a class movie is in store with ‘Bougainville.’

This marks the first collaboration between Kunchacko Boban and Amal Neerad, adding to the movie’s uniqueness. It is also the comeback film for actress Jyothirmayi, appearing in a distinct new look. The screenplay is co-written by Amal Neerad and renowned crime thriller novelist Lajo Jose. Anand C Chandran, who handled the cinematography for ‘Bheeshmaparvam,’ is the cinematographer for ‘Bougainville.’

The film is produced under the banners of Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures with Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban. The team comprises editor Vivek Harshan, production designer Joseph Nellickal, sound designer Tapas Nayak, costume designer Sameera Saneesh, makeup artist Ronex Xavier, choreographers Jishnu and Sumesh, and additional dialogues by RJ Murugan. Lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahammed and Vinayak Sasikumar, with stunts coordinated by Supreme Sundar and Mahesh Mathew. Ajeesh Omanakuttan handles production sound, Arun Unnikrishnan is the executive producer, while Ajeet Velayudhan and Siju S Bhava are associate directors, with production controlled by Deepak Parameswaran. Still photography is by Shaheen Thaha and Hasif Abid Hakeem, with public relations managed by Aathira Diljith and publicity designs by Aesthetic Kunjamma.

The film is based on Lajo Jose’s novel ‘Ruthinte Lokam,’ with the screenplay crafted jointly by Amal Neerad and Lajo Jose. Music for the film is composed by Sushin Shyam, who gained fame with the hit song ‘Stuthi.’ Following Amal Neerad’s success with ‘Bheeshmaparvam,’ the film industry is closely watching ‘Bougainville’ with great expectations.
