Alexis Black Gym Locker Room Incident

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — A transgender woman is under scrutiny after a public dispute at a gym locker room involving allegations of inappropriate behavior.

Alexis Black, previously known as Grant Freeman, was confronted by singer-songwriter Tish Hyman at a Gold’s Gym. Hyman accused Black of exposing male genitalia in the women’s locker room. The incident was filmed and shared widely on social media, escalating the situation.

Black has a history of legal issues, including a 2022 conviction for assaulting then-wife Alexis Freeman in Ohio. Court documents revealed that Black caused significant injuries, including a compound fractured jaw, leading to a one-year prison sentence.

In response to the gym altercation, Black defended their presence in the women’s locker room, stating that forcing transgender women into male spaces would be discriminatory. “You’re not going to put a trans woman with a trans man just because we’re trans,” Black remarked.

Hyman claimed that after confronting Black about the alleged harassment, she was kicked out of the gym and had her membership revoked. Footage of her confrontation was posted online, where she complained about “grown men with big d**ks in the women’s locker room.”

Negative reactions have surged online, with many commenters criticizing Black’s transition and questioning the inclusivity policies in gym facilities. EōS Fitness, which recently acquired the former Gold’s Gym location, has not publicly addressed the situation amidst rising backlash on social media.

Neither Hyman nor Freeman has commented on the incident. As tensions continue to grow around policies affecting transgender individuals in shared spaces, this dispute highlights ongoing debates about safety and inclusivity in public facilities.
