A recent Sunrise interview with popular WWE wrestler Grayson Waller, also known as Matthew Farrelly, has become an internet sensation after taking an unexpected turn. Waller appeared on the show alongside fellow wrestler LA Knight, and the interview seemed to be going well until the hosts, Nat Barr and Matt Doran, asked the duo to perform a signature finishing move.

However, Knight declined, jokingly warning that it wouldn’t be a good day for anyone if he unleashed his moves. Despite Knight’s reluctance, Barr and Doran continued to insist, even offering their floor manager as a sparring partner, joking that he was leaving the show soon. The brave floor manager stepped onto the screen and started throwing punches towards the wrestlers.

Waller was clearly displeased with the gag, expressing his frustration, “I don’t think you understand. If I come over there, we’re going to have the police here because I’m not going to give you some fake punch. I’m going to punch you straight in the jaw.” He then confronted the floor manager, emphasizing the disrespect shown by the hosts.

Feeling the tension, Doran intervened, pushing the floor manager out of frame and apologizing to Waller. Barr also tried to explain that they didn’t mean any disrespect, but Waller appeared unconvinced, glaring at Doran and reminding them, “You guys come here and try to disrespect us, are you kidding me?”

Waller, a wrestler who rose to fame on Australian Survivor, is in Perth to promote the WWE’s elimination chamber event taking place in February.
