Youtuber Elvish Yadav Sentenced To Jail In Snake Venom Case: Party Allegations Surface

Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav faces legal trouble as he has been sent to a 14-day judicial custody by Noida Police in connection with a snake venom case under the Wild Life Protection Act 1972. The charges stem from his alleged involvement in a snake venom-rave party where such substances were used recreationally.

Elvish Yadav’s arrest came after a police raid at a party held in a banquet hall in Noida where snake venom was reportedly being used by the guests. In November 2023, Noida Police lodged an FIR at Sector 49 police station, naming Elvish Yadav and five others as the prime suspects in the case. While the other five accused were arrested, they are currently out on bail.

The case against Elvish Yadav was shifted from Sector 49 to Sector 20 police station for further investigation. The charges include violations of the Wildlife Protection Act 1972 and criminal conspiracy under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Notably, People For Animals (PFA) played a significant role in the case against Elvish Yadav. PFA’s chairperson and BJP leader Maneka Gandhi accused Yadav of being involved in the illegal sale of snake venom and demanded his immediate arrest. The investigation also revealed that a person named Rahul, in association with Yadav, had arranged snakes and venom for the party.

Elvish Yadav, who has released multiple videos on his YouTube channel featuring snakes, has denied all allegations of his involvement in the snake venom case. Despite authorities claiming he was not physically present at the party, the police are looking into his potential role in the incident. The case has garnered attention on social media platforms ever since the allegations surfaced.

This incident has brought to light the sensitive issue of illegal wildlife trade and unauthorized possession of harmful substances. It serves as a reminder of the importance of wildlife protection laws and the repercussions of their violation, even for high-profile individuals like Elvish Yadav.
