Zach Bryan Teams Up with Bruce Springsteen for a Surprise Duet in Philly
During his second concert in Philadelphia this week, country star Zach Bryan surprised fans by inviting rock legend Bruce Springsteen on stage. Together, they performed a duet of the classic song u201cAtlantic Cityu201d along with their own collaboration, u201cSandpaper.u201d
u201cAtlantic Cityu201d was originally penned by Springsteen and made its debut on his solo album u201cNebraskau201d back in 1982. It was later covered by The Band in 1993. As they took the stage, Bryan and Springsteen belted out the memorable chorus, captivating everyone in the audience.
Following their collaboration, they were joined by another artist for a high-energy performance of u201cRevival,u201d a song Bryan typically uses to wrap up his shows on the Quittin’ Time tour.
This isnu2019t their first time sharing the stage, either. Earlier this year, Springsteen even joined Bryan during a show in Brooklyn, where they performed together in the encore.
Springsteen’s appearance is linked to Bryan’s album, u201cThe Great American Bar Scene,u201d which was just released in July. The album features several high-profile guests, including John Mayer, who provided guitar work on one of the tracks called u201cBetter Days.u201d
Mayer praised Bryan’s work on social media, highlighting how special the song was and how remarkable the album turned out to be.
Fans were thrilled not just by Bryan’s performance, but also by the surprise of having Springsteen join him live, making it a memorable night in Philadelphia.
