Kylie Kelce has something short and sweet to say about the wedding of her brother-in-law Travis Kelce and superstar artist Taylor Swift.
Speaking on the July 23 episode of her podcast “Not Gonna Lie,” Kelce briefly addressed the nuptials, which took place at New York’s Madison Square Garden earlier in the month.
“I would like to say congratulations to Tay and Trav. It was absolutely magical,” Kelce said of the July 3 ceremony. “I’m so happy for them.”
She added that she’s always loved the two together, and that the ceremony was “only making it official.”
“Because Taylor’s been part of the family now for quite some time,” Kelce said.
The 34-year-old, who is married to Travis Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce, didn’t spill any specifics about the festivities, but encouraged people to go straight to the couple themselves.
“Anything else, you can check in with Taylor and Travis about. Any of the details that they want to share, they can share,” Kelce, who’s also a field hockey coach, said on the podcast. “Otherwise, it was intimate, and incredible, and full of love both for each other and for everybody’s else love for them.”
Kylie Kelce, who’s been married to former NFL player Jason Kelce since 2018, shares four children with the former athlete. She’s been mum about the wedding as the couple themselves have not publicly revealed much either.
During her podcast episode, Kelce called out Us Weekly, saying that the outlet had published a snippet of a private conversation that she had had with a father and daughter at recent event. During that conversation, the fans had asked if photos of the wedding would be shared, Kelce said.
“And I said, ‘Well it just happened, you gotta give them some time to bask in it. They’re in the honeymoon time,’” Kelce recalled on her podcast.
However, Kelce said, the outlet recorded and posted a piece of the conversation, claiming that she was “seen discussing Taylor Swift’s wedding.”
“Don’t eavesdrop on my conversations,” she said during the episode, encouraging people to head to her podcast for her actual thoughts.
“If you want to hear something from me, you can come right here,” Kelce said, referencing her podcast. “Straight from the horse’s mouth.”
Donna Kelce, the mother of the groom, appears to have had the same exact takeaway from the royal wedding. During the Macy’s fireworks show on July 4, the day after the big event, the proud mom said that she couldn’t “say a heck of a lot, except it was magical, man.” It certainly sounded like that day was a fairytale.
