Tampa police were searching Monday evening for a 36-year-old man who escaped from a court-ordered medical facility on Henry Avenue, authorities said.
The man, identified as Dallas Carl Dishman Jr., was believed to have walked away from the facility earlier Monday evening. The Tampa Police Department said it was investigating the escape but provided no additional information about Dishman’s background or possible destination.
Court records show Dishman has had multiple previous encounters with law enforcement in Hillsborough County. The specific circumstances of those encounters were not immediately clear, nor was the reason for his court-ordered stay at the medical facility.
