Callum Turner is already thinking about the pitter-patter of little feet. The One Night Only star, who married pop sensation Dua Lipa in May, has revealed that starting a family is a top priority. In an interview with Esquire published Aug. 18, the 36-year-old actor spoke candidly about his future plans. “I’d like to have a family and raise some kids,” he said.
Turner, known for his roles in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, also reflected on the traits he’s honed over years as an actor and model that might serve him well as a dad. “I’m more determined than hard on myself,” he explained. “I like structure, I like routine and I like rhythm.”
The couple’s wedding in Italy was a star-studded affair, with guests including Donatella Versace, Charli XCX, and Elton John. Turner described the day as “amazing” and “the most beautiful day of my life,” adding that fans’ congratulations still feel “pretty surreal.”
But the celebration didn’t stop at the altar. The newlyweds took a “magical holiday” to South Africa, where they went on safari, and later honeymooned in Rome and the Amalfi Coast. Lipa, 30, shared snapshots on Instagram Stories in June, capturing their travels.
Turner, who is rumored to be in contention for the role of James Bond, emphasized the couple’s shared thirst for adventure. “We both have the same thing in our head that says, ‘Run, roam, see the world, explore and discover,'” he said. “We love doing it together,” he joked, adding that they’re both “part of the same circus.”
Ultimately, the actor highlighted the real gift of marriage. “It’s nice to find someone that you love and who loves you and you want to be around all the time,” he said. For Turner, that someone is Dua Lipa.
