Kim Kardashian made a surprise appearance in Chicago over the weekend, turning heads in her signature all-black ensemble as she dropped by her Skims store in the Gold Coast neighborhood.
The visit came on a busy weekend for her family. Her 13-year-old daughter, North West, was scheduled to perform Saturday night at The Vic Theatre in Lakeview. Meanwhile, her ex-husband, Ye — formerly known as Kanye West — was headlining two nights at Soldier Field.
Kardashian shared snapshots from the store at 1000 N. Rush St. on Instagram, captioning the post simply: “SKIMS STORE CHICAGO.” She was seen posing in various spots around the store, showcasing the brand’s latest offerings.
North West’s appearance at The Vic Theatre followed the release of her EP, “N0rth4evr,” in May. The young artist had already made her solo festival debut on June 2 at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash at SeatGreek Stadium in Bridgeview.
Ye’s performances at Soldier Field mark another major event for the city, drawing thousands of fans over the weekend. Kardashian’s presence added another layer of celebrity buzz, though she did not appear to attend either performance.
