Los Angeles, CA – Comedian Nate Bargatze will host the 77th Annual Emmy Awards, scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The event will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT, and will also be available to stream on Paramount+.

Bargatze, known for his unique comedic style, has gained widespread popularity, selling over 1.2 million tickets during his 2024 tour, making him the top-grossing comedian worldwide that year. He has released six stand-up specials, including his latest, ‘Your Friend, Nate Bargatze,’ on Netflix. His 2021 special, ‘The Greatest Average American,’ earned a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album.

The Television Academy announced that the nominations for the 2025 Emmy Awards will be revealed on July 15. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place a week earlier, on September 6 and 7, leading up to the Primetime Emmy Awards broadcast.
